Amazing

Why hello there :)


Yes, I know. It's been way too long since I last posted but the good news is, I've fixed the Portfolio section on my blog and it now shows ACTUAL work of mine! Feel free to have a nosey by clicking the tab above (up there ^ ^ ^ ^ ^).


Many things have occurred since I last posted but the event that people are talking about most today is this:

which reportedly cost around $10million to produce! It was worth it. The detail on his hologram is simply amazing and although it has been done before, this one was a little bit special I think.


Speaking of amazing technology, I came across this today too and it just made me wonder how much is actually possible in this day and age.
Some of the things on here look incredibly real:

To think, if they had the time and money, gaming companies could produce THE most awesome games ever. I think I can safely say that I look forward to the future :)


Now, I am a massive fan of the guitar and this video caught my eye the other day:

It's not a new technique, again it has been done before, but he's just a young lad and he absolutely nailed it. Secretly, I like it more than the original...but let's not tell anyone shall we!


This is the last video but it is just as amazing as the others :)

I think it's an excellent idea and one that I wish I had thought of myself. It's simple but it made me want to share it :)

Hello everyone,

Sorry about the delay in posting but something very exciting came up - I went to an agency yesterday! The Driven Agency in Wilmslow were kind enough to give me a book crit and so I had to majorly prepare for it hence this late post. I apologise again though :) Thankfully it went quite well so now I just wait I guess?

Thankfully all my friends who play Call Of Duty are a lot nicer than that guy! The video is made by Reckless Tortuga and they have a load of videos online that are really well done so why not check them out!


Now, I am a huge Angry Birds fan and this next video I am going to post just blew me away and I really want one :/

How cool is that dad for making that, how cool is the cake!? It looks so tasty, even just the little birds would do me :) perhaps I should hint at my fiance a little bit as it is my birthday soon ... hehe.

The last video I'm going to post made me literally laugh my ass off :D I can say no more:

Hello everyone!

I've been extremely busy applying myself to third year uni but this week I've had a chance to look around the internet a bit more and to have a bit of a breather :)

One of the first things that came to my attention was a kid called Keenan Cahill who is pretty awesome I think! He started out just singing his heart out to his webcam and now he's had Fifty Cent AND David Guetta feature in his videos which is amazing, I'm quite jealous :) I totally think good on him for what he's done.

The video that follows kind of blew my mind, I'm interested in all sorts of cool science-y kinda stuff and this one definately goes on my list as it's so easy to do (when there is snow!)

How cool is that? I wish I had seen this video when it snowed here then I could have tried it!

This final video was sent to me by a friend and I was highly impressed with it. It's apparently a music video by someone called Cinnamon Chasers and it's just nice to watch and the music is good too, the two go hand in hand :)

I'm not entirely sure what's going on in it but I know that I like it as it's a couple of stories in just over 5 minutes and to me it feels more like a short film than a music video but either way I like it a lot :) very well done.





Well, now I have my new Mac there's no reason why I won't be posting anymore so look out for the next post soon :)

A Secret Worth Sharing

Evening :),


It seems my life just keeps getting more and more hectic but today I had some time just for me and so I found a great group of videos that I want to show you.

The first is a really neat animation about Parkour. It's a simple idea but it looks awesome and clearly it took a looooong time to complete lol but the pay off is so worth it. The person who made it must be very proud:

This next video is really good and anyone who is interested in video games, especially those from the 80's and 90's, should enjoy it. Either way it's very well put together and I'm very impressed by it (plus being a little bit of a geek, it reminded me of my childhood quite a bit!)

The final video I'm going to share with you today is a lovely video from a guy called Patrick Jean and watching it all the way through gave me such a warmth inside even though it's such a simple video. I feel it's a very uplifting video and is a great way of feeling appreciated :) give a go - the link is below.

Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to get any work or anything done tonight as it is the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops which includes 4 player Nazi Zombies! Must. Play. When. Home. Which will be after midnight (yes, I am going then to collect it from the store!) I hope it's as good as the one before it.
