Cats With Thumbs!

Hello everyone :)

I've been a busy little bee again this week but I haven't forgotten about you all! Things with my D&AD brief are looking pretty good and I can't wait to get on with my animations and films.

This week I viewed a different student film posted on the internet and thought it needed to be passed on :) it is rather well done:

It's a mad thought that everything is sort of lost in the last minutes of life.
I'd give the video a good mark anyway ;)

This next video is just another one of those that I love. Something a little bit creative, a little bit techy and just that little bit cool :) :

Pretty neat huh? Just think, there are all those signals flying around and we can't even see them :)

This next video was brought to my attention by my tutor and it is a pretty funny ad:

OMG it's coming true! :/ hahaha. Nah I'm kidding but it is a bit weird that both these videos came to my attention this week :P perhaps we should all be keeping an eye on our cats at the moment then.

Great New Films

Afternoon all,

While Dirty Sanchez is on I'll avert my gaze and continue writing my blog :)



I have quite a few things that have caught my attention over the last few days including a nice list of films that are out in the next year or so that make me very happy lol like 'Paul' with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (that awesome duo!). There's also 'Little Fockers', 'Rango' and 'The Borrowers' which all look pretty good and are worth looking up - the trailers are all on the internet somewhere so I recommend a look!

Also this week, I promised myself I would try to tone down on the advertising in this blog (even though it is one of my biggest passions) but I can't help but mention these next two ads because they really stuck out to me.
The first one is the T-Mobile Heathrow advert because it makes me laugh and is a really clever idea, see below.

The second one is for Skoda. Do you remember the ad with the Skoda car cake with that lovely song in the background; it's kind of like that but not lol it's turned it on it's head and it totally made me want to buy the car because it just looks awesome!

Awesome huh? It really makes me want to say 'I wish I'd thought of that!'

The last thing is a really nice video from good old TED which, to me, is just really nice. I think it gets better right in the middle but all in all it's a good video that has a feel good vibe about it so I thought I'd include it. Enjoy below :)

Well, I'm going to watch a bit of 'South Park' now for some laughs then start work all over again lol.
